Press Release

The Canadian Premier Baseball League (CPBL) is excited to unveil the inaugural ‘Canadian Premier Spring Trip,’ set to take place from March 17-24, 2025, in Phoenix, Arizona.

During this trip, the Premier team will compete in a series of 8 games against Minor League Baseball (MILB) Spring Training teams and the Langley Blaze. All games will be hosted at MLB Spring Training complexes, providing an exceptional competitive environment.

Established in the fall of 2022, the ‘Canadian Premier’ 18U team showcases the finest talent from CPBL member programs. In a relatively short time, the Premier brand has expanded to include the ‘Canadian Premier Underclass’ 17U team, both of which face off against elite competition. The timing of the Spring Trip aligns well with the MLB scouting community’s preparations for the annual MLB First Year Player Draft.

The final roster for the trip will be revealed in early February.

“This trip marks a significant milestone in our commitment to offer our players the best opportunities for exposure while adhering to the developmental model that CPBL programs prioritize. The daily schedule of workouts and games against professional-level competition will undoubtedly bring out the best in these athletes.”
